Invisalign for Children
What About Dental Emergencies?
Welcome to Park Dental Care, dedicated to Invisalign for Children! We understand that parents want the best possible dental care for their children, and we are proud to offer Invisalign treatment as a safe, effective, and convenient alternative to traditional metal braces.
At our practice, we understand that parents want to give their children the best possible start in life, including a healthy and beautiful smile. That’s why we offer Invisalign, a modern and effective way to straighten teeth without the need for traditional metal braces.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a clear aligner system that gently moves teeth into the correct position. The aligners are custom-made for each patient and are made of a smooth, comfortable plastic material that is virtually invisible. They can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, making them a convenient option for busy children and their parents.
Why choose Invisalign for your child?
There are many reasons why Invisalign may be the right choice for your child, including:
- Aesthetics: Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, meaning that your child can straighten their teeth without anyone noticing.
- Comfort: The smooth plastic material used in Invisalign aligners is comfortable and won’t irritate your child’s mouth like traditional metal braces.
- Convenience: Invisalign aligners are removable, making it easy for your child to eat, brush, and floss as normal.
- Effective: Invisalign is an effective way to straighten teeth, and many patients see results in just a few months.
- Confidence: A straight, healthy smile can give your child the confidence they need to succeed in school, sports, and other activities.
How does Invisalign work?
The Invisalign process starts with a consultation with one of our experienced orthodontists. They will examine your child’s teeth and discuss their goals for treatment. If Invisalign is right for your child, we will take digital scans of their teeth and create a custom treatment plan.
Your child will receive a series of aligners, each one slightly different than the last. They will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, gradually moving their teeth into the correct position. Your child will need to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss.
Your child will need to visit our practice every six to eight weeks for a check-up, and to receive their next set of aligners. Treatment time varies depending on the severity of your child’s case, but most patients see results in 6-18 months.
Is Invisalign right for your child?
Invisalign is a great option for many children, but it’s not right for everyone. Our experienced orthodontists will examine your child’s teeth and discuss their goals for treatment to determine if Invisalign is the best option for them.
