How does Invisalign work?

The Invisalign process starts with a consultation with one of our experienced orthodontists. They will examine your child’s teeth and discuss their goals for treatment. If Invisalign is right for your child, we will take digital scans of their teeth and create a custom treatment plan.

Your child will receive a series of aligners, each one slightly different than the last. They will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, gradually moving their teeth into the correct position. Your child will need to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss.

Your child will need to visit our practice every six to eight weeks for a check-up, and to receive their next set of aligners. Treatment time varies depending on the severity of your child’s case, but most patients see results in 6-18 months.
